Press Release - Wild Hare Brand Products Garnering National AttentionFor additional information, please contact Marian Viney 608.424.3044 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Wild Hare Brand Products Garnering National Attention Belleville, Wisconsin—With a name like Scott "Scooter" Hare, his parents must have known that he was destined to market something later in life. That something is Wild Hare Brand premium beef jerky, beef sticks, and summer sausage. Scott and his wife Lisa are owners and operators of Wild Hare Foods, LLC. They pride themselves in the development and marketing of some of the finest meat snacks in the USA. Their products are manufactured from the highest quality ingredients to assure products that they are proud to share with family and friends and they encourage all to "Enjoy the Experience." After 28 years of working for the same company, Scott resigned nine months ago to devote his time and energy completely to their new adventure. When Scott was working for Nicolet Instrument Corporation, which is now Thermo Fisher Scientific, he was doing a lot of traveling. Beef jerky was his snack food of choice, he said. It was something that he started "dabbling in" along with his hunting hobby and it was convenient to take on trips. Both Scott and Lisa enjoy cooking and creating new recipes besides enjoying the great outdoors. Jerky lends itself to all of their hobbies and interests including their love of Harley Davidson motorcycles. "I didn’t come up with this jerky recipe all on my own," said Scott. "I borrowed bits and pieces from a few different recipes. In the end, we put together a jerky recipe that is very good." After making what they thought was "pretty good jerky," Scott started taking it with him on his business trips to California, the East coast, and Europe, and they’d give samples to friends and family. Soon the telephone started ringing. Everyone wanted more.
